Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ascension Borgess Allegan Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and evaluating respiratory insufficiencies.

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Implement and monitor respiratory care plans and equipment
• Monitor and record patient condition and communicate with healthcare team
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and evaluate patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about respiratory health and provide community resources

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
• Respiratory Therapist certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or Michigan Board of Respiratory Care
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree

• Michigan license for Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS and ACLS certificates
• 2 years of experience in respiratory care
