Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Associate/Assembler to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building and assembling truck bodies, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate assembly and production.
  • Cut and shape materials using various saws, sheers, and cutters to meet precise dimensions.
  • Assemble parts using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners, ensuring secure and durable connections.
  • Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Perform setup and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Examine finished products for quality and defects, making necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
  • Conduct safety and quality checks to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in assembly and fabrication.
  • Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills to accurately read and interpret blueprints and instructions.
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools, including saws, sheers, and pneumatic tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working on truck bodies or in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Construction experience or knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing plant environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The team member may be required to sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl in confined spaces.
