We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Progressive Care and Telemetry to join our healthcare team. This role is critical in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: Valid RN License in Wisconsin, BLS, and ACLS.
- EKG Test: Candidates must successfully pass the EKG test within the first week of employment.
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry unit.
- Work a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Note that orientation may not guarantee GSA hours.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in IMC/PCU/Telemetry is required.
- 1 year of strong cardiac experience is essential (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU).
- Experience with medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips is necessary.
- Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
- 1 year of recent EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
- Shift: 12-hour Day shifts.
- Floating: Flexibility to float to all inpatient units as needed.
- On Call: Willingness to take call if desired.
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday commitment.
- Ideal candidates are hard-working, resilient, and adaptable to change.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner is essential.
- Radius Rule: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Aspirus Wausau.
- Job Title: CTU/Step Down RN.
- Auto Offer Unit: This position qualifies for automatic offers.
