Robotic Welder

Schuette Metals Inc is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our team in a climate-controlled facility with excellent fume extraction systems. As a Robotic Welder, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending robotic welding machines to fabricate metal products or assemblies.

• Set up and operate robotic welding machines to join or bond components.
• Select and position jigs, holding fixtures, guides, or stops onto machines.
• Prepare metal surfaces or work pieces using hand-operated equipment.
• Read and understand basic blueprints and perform routine preventative maintenance.

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a robotic welder to exact positions.
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, squat, twist, and stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime.
• Prompt and reliable attendance required.
