Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated HVAC Maintenance Specialist to become part of our dynamic team. This position reports directly to the Facility Manager and is essential for the hands-on analysis, upkeep, and troubleshooting of our around-the-clock facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on both critical and non-critical systems.
  2. Manage and operate various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression systems, life safety systems, temperature control systems, and building management systems.
  3. Oversee and coordinate electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management initiatives.
  4. Ensure adherence to all change control protocols.
  5. Plan and supervise preventive, contracted, and general maintenance tasks.
  6. Follow established operating procedures and maintenance guidelines.
  7. Operate and monitor critical system equipment, supervising efforts of third-party contractors.
  8. Respond swiftly to emergency situations and address customer inquiries.
  9. Monitor facility operations during assigned shifts.
  10. Assess and delegate safe work responsibilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years of experience as an HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
  • Preferred electrical/mechanical certifications.
  • Availability to work overtime and extended shifts, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Flexibility with work hours is essential, with a rotation through different shifts.
