Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Imaging:
  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
  • Position patients correctly and use radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
  • Operate CT scanners and other equipment according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and identify any areas for improvement.

Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Address any concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Patient Safety:
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and guidelines to minimize exposure.
  • Report any incidents or near-misses to supervisors and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Registered Technologist (RT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • One year of experience in direct cross-sectional anatomy.
  • One year of experience in diagnostic x-ray procedures.
