Position Overview

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our esteemed team. This role focuses on providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment, specifically within the Telemetry and Neuro units.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
  • RNs must possess the ability to interpret EKGs.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients with various diagnoses, including neuro overflow, CVAs, trauma, and general surgery.
  • Ensure compliance with COVID-19 vaccination protocols or provide appropriate documentation for exemptions.
  • Complete a dysrhythmia exam prior to commencement of the assignment, with a maximum of two attempts allowed.
  • Participate in a pass/fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation, with study materials provided.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience is required.
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and AZ nursing license or compact is essential.
  • Successful completion of the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam is required prior to position acceptance.
Schedule Details
  • Shifts: 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
  • Orientation: 2 days of floor-specific training.
Unit Information
  • Unit: B3A - Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro.
  • Bed Capacity: 26 beds.
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:3-4.
  • Charge Nurse: Yes, with no patient assignment.
  • Support Staff: PCTs available at a ratio of 1 per 13 patients.
  • Additional Resources: RT and Pharmacy services available 24/7.
Patient Care Focus

The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing patients with neuro, CVA, pulmonary, and general telemetry conditions. Flexibility to float to sister facilities may be required.
