Job Description Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the hotel's housekeeping and laundry operations meet the highest standards of quality and service. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, this position is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, inspecting rooms, and performing cleaning duties to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet the brand's quality standards.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to maintain high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with the Housekeeping Manager to develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Assist with scheduling and room cleaning assignments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Perform all housekeeping duties as needed, including cleaning guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Monitor and maintain par levels for linen and room supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus two years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory training or experience.
  • Previous experience in the extended stay industry is preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and training skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
