Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to our patients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their independence and quality of life.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as an occupational therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Appropriate knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • High level of service delivery.
