OSF HealthCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical ICU team. As a Medical ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support patients' physical symptoms, providing psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
- Mentor assigned team members, promoting best practices and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary care teams to provide care coordination across the continuum.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
- Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS certification.
- Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment, preferably in a Medical ICU setting.
- Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree.
