Description of Job Duties

The per diem physical therapist position at Memorial Hermann Health System involves providing expert physical therapy services to patients in various settings, including clinics and hospitals. This role requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual who can deliver high-quality patient care while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Evaluate patients' physical function and develop targeted treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall health.
  • Implement interventions, such as manual therapy, exercise, and education, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and address concerns.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Active licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
  • One (1) year of experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient setting.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
