About the Role

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide/ CNA to join our team. As a Hospice Aide/ CNA, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to patients and their families during a challenging time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with ambulation and mobility, using walkers or wheelchairs as needed.
  • Prepare and serve light meals, and assist with feeding patients when needed.
  • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment, including emptying trash and changing linens.
  • Document patient information and visit itineraries accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
  • Current drivers license and automobile insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
