Job Overview

The identified shifts will vary according to operational requirements. This is a salaried position, and compensation is commensurate with experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance and Grounds operations, assigning tasks across all shifts, and executing projects as directed by the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma is mandatory.
  • A minimum of five years in a supervisory or managerial role is essential, ideally within casino engineering.
  • Journeyman status or equivalent in at least one trade for a minimum of five years, or substantial knowledge in multiple technical fields is required.
  • Experience with HVAC & R systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling, management, and administrative tasks, along with computer skills, is highly desirable.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The qualifications outlined are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to meet the demands of this role.
  • Proven experience in managing design, development, and construction processes.
  • Experience in overseeing remodeling projects and coordinating with various contractors.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical scenarios relevant to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing sectors.
  • Capability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic form.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is essential.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and promote teamwork.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance.
  • Ability to manage multiple abstract and concrete variables.
  • Understanding of building systems operations and development, including electrical, HVAC, gas, and plumbing.
