Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rocky Point Care Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and rehabilitation services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for rehabilitation.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapy sessions, education, and support to residents and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Experience working in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. The Occupational Therapist will be required to stand, walk, and move intermittently throughout the workday. The position also requires the ability to lift, bend, and push/pull objects as needed.

The Occupational Therapist will be working in a skilled nursing facility and will be exposed to various environmental conditions, including noise, occasional fumes/odors, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
