Join Our Team as a PCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator

At Trident Medical Center, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and creating a positive work environment for our nurses. As a PCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Progressive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
  • A minimum of one year of Charge RN experience required.
  • Previous critical care nursing experience required.
