Job Description:

The CT Technologist plays a vital role in the diagnostic imaging process, working closely with physicians to perform high-quality CT examinations. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations and assist physicians with invasive procedures
  • Prepare examinations for interpretation, maintain radiation safety, and assist with supply management
  • Operate CT and related equipment, as well as facility-based computer systems
  • Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction
  • Transport, move, and position patients safely and appropriately
  • Assist physicians with special procedures involving CT
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT
  • Maintain licensure requirements with the state of Ohio
  • Maintain annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification
  • Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
Work Environment:

This position involves sedentary work, with occasional walking or standing. The ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally is required.

Shifts and Schedule:

Nights 4-10's (7:30PM to 6AM), every other weekend
