Centerstone is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating all candidate background checks, ensuring timely completion of the screening process, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage candidate background checks, ensuring timely completion and follow-up with candidates as needed.
- Enter accurate information into HR systems, including background check results and new hire documentation.
- Maintain organized records and documentation, including new hire packets and screening status.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner to maintain accurate SmartSheet records and communicate screening status to hiring supervisors and managers.
- Accurately enter candidate information and relevant data into DCF/AHCA and Complete Roster systems prior to Orientation week.
- Complete E Verify on all new staff and scan/upload documents to the HR folder.
- Ensure required new employee documentation is completed, compiled, and entered into new employee personnel packets.
- Scan and upload necessary documents for tracking, including clinical licenses, auto insurance, driver's license, CPR/BLS, etc.
- Prepare new hire packets for employee files and respond to volunteer inquiries, screen volunteer applications, and match volunteer applicants with requests.
- Train Front Desk staff on preparing and maintaining personnel files and audit personnel files to ensure completeness.
- Prepare for corporate audits and respond to auditor requests, presenting personnel and training records as needed.
- Process correspondence and respond to routine information requests from callers, investigate subject matter, and prepare replies.
- Provide information and referral to agency and community services for callers and visitors, process subpoenas as necessary.
- Maintain accurate DCF, AHCA, and Complete Rosters, requiring current information from staff to ensure accuracy.
- Provide backup for front desk duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, time management skills, and organization skills.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 1 year of relevant experience working in Human Resources and/or recruiting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College coursework or intermediate to advanced training in human resources and/or business.
- Experience in Human Resources, including HRIS systems (Workday).
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources is preferred.
