About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team at Seneca Family of Agencies. As a Family Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing family-centered mental health counseling, support, and crisis intervention services to children, youth, and families enrolled in our Wraparound program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling and case management services to enrolled youth and their families, including individual sessions and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Support clients and families to connect with natural supports and community-based resources.
  • Collaborate with the Seneca Wraparound team to provide individualized services to enrolled youth and their families.
  • Complete mental health notes and other required clinical paperwork.
  • Consult with team members on a weekly basis to ensure successful transition of clients and their families to community-based resources.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a social services-related field.

  • Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.
