About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Control Panel Specialist to join our team at Kupper Engineering, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assembly and fabrication of electrical control panels, ensuring high-quality products that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical control panels, including drilling, mounting, and wiring
  • Perform metal work, such as sawing, cutting, drilling, and tapping to mount devices and components onto cabinet inner panels and cabinet doors and walls
  • Assemble relay and server racks, including 19-inch and 24-inch rack assembly
  • Terminate communication cables and connectors (RJ11, RJ45, specialty)
  • Route, terminate, harness, and cable to support 5VDC up to 480VAC
  • Wiring of PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, Industrial Computers, Data concentrators, Controllers, Power Relays and Meters, Cell modems, routers, and other control and monitoring components
  • Assist with shipping of equipment and control panels
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
  • Ability to use power and manual hand tools
  • Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and assembly drawings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding initiative, a well-organized, and strong sense of responsibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess a strong awareness of current and emerging industry standards, vendors, and technologies as they relate to the consulting engineering industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Some college or technical school education preferred
  • Work experience in the manufacturing, construction, or engineering industry is an advantage
  • Two plus years of experience preferred
