Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Position

Go Healthcare is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment in Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Physical Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans to meet individual needs
  • Implement and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to promote independence and self-care
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Maryland
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a hospital or rehabilitation setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
