Job Description:

Overview:

Arcfield is a leading provider of digital transformation, space mission engineering, and launch assurance services. We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Launch Vehicle Analyst to support our National Security Space (NSS) missions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform launch vehicle Flight Mechanics analysis in support of NSS missions.
  • Develop and integrate environmental and vehicle models with flight software.
  • Process simulation data and perform trajectory/performance/guidance analyses.
  • Interface with Launch Service Provider (LSP) personnel and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in LSP technical reviews and support discipline analysis working group meetings.
  • Document and present IV&V activities and analyses.

Qualifications:

  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Must be able and willing to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Strong technical understanding in orbital mechanics, vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, and rocket propulsion.
  • Excellent capability in model development, computer programming, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Familiar with C/C++, Fortran, Ada, and Matlab.

Equal Pay Act:

This is the projected compensation range for this position: Min: $80,952.24 Max: $140,760.24
