Job Title: Tableau Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Architect to join our team at RICEFW Technologies. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Tableau reporting solutions from inception to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business and technical groups to understand data visualization needs and propose solutions.
  • Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports with different data sources, including DB2, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Train and mentor staff on using Tableau.
  • Work closely with IT groups to understand the current technical ecosystem and design a full-blown Tableau environment.
  • Support the Business Intelligence/Analytics data analyst in understanding business and data requirements.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of professional experience in building BI and reporting solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and architectures.
  • 5+ years of experience with Tableau design and development.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Business Objects 4.2.
  • 5+ years of experience building universes in Business Objects.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL, RDBMS design, development, and performance tuning.
  • 5+ years of data warehousing tools and techniques (DataStage ETL, Netezza, MapR preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in the BI design of complex systems projects.
  • 3+ years as a Tableau architect advising clients on establishing Tableau environments, best practices, and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tableau Desktop certification.
  • Experience with ETL development.
  • Understanding of ETL development.
