Job Title: Breakfast Attendant
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team at AmericInn by Wyndham Duluth South. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for setting up and taking down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are always available. You will also need to walk throughout the dining area refilling coffee and beverages and cleaning up used plates and utensils.
Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate procedures for removing used plates, glasses, and silverware in an efficient manner throughout breakfast service
- Disinfect and clean service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment following health and safety procedures
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Make sure that the breakfast buffet is fully set up each morning and that fresh items are always offered throughout service hours
- Maintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as needed
Requirements:
- Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers
- This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Experience working in food service is preferred
