Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Specialist to join our team at UT Health Henderson. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages, utilizing advanced imaging modalities to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of echocardiography procedures and protocols, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive and respectful experience for all patients.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Qualified second-year student from an allied Health Echocardiography program.
  • Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards.
  • CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiography studies.
  • Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies.
