Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries. Your expertise will be essential in performing a variety of imaging exams, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures.
Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.

Requirements:

Graduate of a radiology program.
No experience required, but ARRT certification within 6 months of hire and CT certification within 12 months of hire are necessary.

Work Environment:

As a Radiology Technologist, you will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring constant alertness and safe manner. You will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging exams, including computed tomography scans. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality results.

Physical Requirements:

Constant standing and walking.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
