Role Summary and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operations of Cardiovascular Programs, which encompass CV Recovery, Cardiovascular Services, and the Electrophysiology Lab. The aim is to ensure seamless integration of all components into a cohesive service line that operates efficiently within the healthcare framework.

  • Oversee cardiovascular operations to guarantee efficient service delivery that meets the needs of both the healthcare system and medical professionals.
  • Integrate various operational elements to create a continuum of care that is both clinically and geographically appropriate.
  • Provide direct leadership for the cardiovascular product line in the capacity of Executive Director.
  • Implement quality initiatives focused on patient safety and performance enhancement within the cardiovascular service line, including adherence to relevant databases and accreditation standards.
  • Engage in strategic planning and policy development for cardiac rehabilitation and other impactful areas within the system.
  • Facilitate physician relations to ensure alignment with healthcare system goals and to identify and address needs and opportunities.
  • Lead marketing and product development initiatives for all cardiovascular programs.
  • Supervise the annual review process, goal setting, and support employee development.
  • Ensure financial accountability and compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Implement quality initiatives related to patient care and safety practices.
  • Manage payroll, oversee overtime controls, and provide staffing reports.
  • Maintain standards for Radiation Safety and sterile techniques.
Qualifications Required:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) credentials.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
  • Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
  • Associate Degree from an accredited program; MSN or MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical leadership experience in cardiovascular services.
