Senior Accounting Manager Position

Job Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions. This includes analyzing financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers.
  • Audit and Compliance: Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement. Implement accounting systems and control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Planning: Manage collection of plant financial and operational data to prepare for the Division's annual budget process. Conduct studies and submit recommendations for improving the organization's accounting and plant operations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Covers all aspects of financial reporting to ensure timely submission to stakeholders. Effectively communicate financial information to management and other stakeholders through written and verbal reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective communication skills; media, verbal, and writing.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs.
Compensation:

$90,000 - $110,000 per year, plus competitive benefits including gainsharing bonus, comprehensive health insurance, and company-matched 401(k).
