About the Role:
IT Partners, Inc. is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Developer to support a production support project at TRANSCOM. As a Cloud Software Developer, you will play a critical role in applying agile development methods for enhancements and deploying increments with additional features and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in refactoring existing software to improve its functionality and prepare it for transition into a modern cloud environment.
- Support sustainment activities, including fixes to address security vulnerabilities, defects, and ensuring the underlying software is correctly patched and updated.
- Collaborate with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and implement cloud-based solutions using Java, Python, and PostgresSQL.
- Work with AWS and other commercial cloud platforms to design and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Use code scanning tools to ensure the security and quality of software.
- Develop interfaces with other systems and debug issues using root cause analysis.
- Implement DEVSECOPS and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure software delivery.
- Participate in cloud transition and migration efforts to ensure seamless deployment of cloud-based solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience for Junior Role, 7+ years of experience for Mid-Level Role, 10+ years of experience for Senior Role.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, or information technology.
- Experience developing using Agile frameworks and Kanban to track work assignments and communicate with project teams.
- Strong cyber security background and experience with Java, Python, PostgresSQL, and AWS.
- Ability to analyze user stories, requirements, and change requests to recommend development paths.
- Experience with configuration management, code scanning tools, and DEVSECOPS.
- Secret Clearance.
