Compliance Auditor Job Description

NHC Corporate Office is seeking a Compliance Auditor to join our Compliance Team. As a Compliance Auditor, you will ensure that the company adheres to federal and state regulations relevant to business. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and enforcing compliance with standards or regulations imposed by professional organizations or internal guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
  • Complete audit work papers and memorandums by documenting audit tests and findings.
  • Communicate audit progress and findings by preparing reports and providing information in meetings.
  • Design required training programs for compliance procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of all required regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a nursing or other health-related degree, a minimum of 3 years experience in behavioral health hospital or hospital compliance, and certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred.
