Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team at American Family Care Lyndhurst. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Your expertise will play a critical role in providing accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate and empathetic manner
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure and ensure patient safety
  • Process and review images to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
  • Assist with patient treatments, including administering medications and providing medical assistance
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
  • Complete records and reports accurately and efficiently
  • Serve as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant as needed, providing exceptional patient care and support
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a college or technical school, or relevant experience
  • ARRT registration or eligibility is preferred
  • Must be licensed per state regulations
  • Some states may accept Medical Assistant Certification, Practical Nursing License, EMT or Paramedic certification
