Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Summary:

The Software Engineer will play a key role in designing and developing server programs for distribution center management. This position requires a strong understanding of equipment, business, and customer requirements to drive the design of technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of server programs for distribution center management.
  • Participate in all phases of product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, database design, installation support, and debugging.
  • Support project-level technical management functions, including system functional definition, server program development and deployment schedules, and interface communication specifications.
  • Assist in defining test scenarios, network and customer requirements, and server and hardware sizing.
  • Coordinate with project management and software engineering groups to ensure proper system performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of previous engineering experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

Physical Aspects/Work Environment:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and see.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
