Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our growing Civil Engineering Services team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a key member of our team, you'll assist project managers and engineers in planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects, including site development, industrial facilities, renewable energy, and municipal infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Assist project managers and engineers in producing project plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation, and assessment for infrastructure projects.
  • Decipher civil site backgrounds, work with nested External Reference Files (Xrefs), and adhere to company drafting standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
  • Experience using computer-assisted engineering and design software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS.

Compensation

Salary range: $63,000 - $77,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and other factors.
