Shields Health Care Group is seeking a skilled X-Ray Tech to join our team at our Shrewsbury, MA location. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the accuracy of diagnostic imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Inform patients of all aspects of their exam and ensure they are cleared of contraindications and hazards.
- Accurately position patients and maintain visual and verbal contact during exams.
- Perform X-rays in accordance with center protocols and complete all necessary forms.
- Record patient data and forward it to radiologists as needed.
- Assist clerical staff as required and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- CPR certification and MA state licensure.
- A minimum of 3 months of prior X-ray experience and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and assist patients with mobility difficulties.
