Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol the premises and maintain a visible presence to deter and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Monitor and control access to restricted areas, including guest screening and parking facilities.
  • Respond to emergency situations and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with staff, patrons, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including administrative tasks and special events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Previous security experience an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
Work Environment

The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities and tasks. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. The Security Officer will be required to stand or walk for long periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

AEG offers a competitive hourly rate of $15.00, plus an overnight differential of $3.25 for third shift work.
