The Field Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in the management and oversight of daily operations related to SCADA, water sourcing, and distribution networks. This position is tasked with leading a team of Water System Operators to ensure the effective and reliable functioning of the water distribution infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the condition of equipment and suggest necessary replacements.
  • Guide Water System Operators in their daily tasks and assignments.
  • Keep precise records of operational activities and maintenance procedures.
  • Propose enhancements to improve the efficiency of the water distribution system.
  • Utilize heavy machinery for repair and installation tasks.
  • Monitor water quality metrics and system flow rates.
  • Address emergency situations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other stakeholders for maintenance and repair activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in relevant fields, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Possession of a Water Distribution Operator IV certification is mandatory.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in operating SCADA systems and heavy machinery.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to make swift decisions during emergencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of water distribution systems and associated safety regulations.
  • Must hold a Class 'A' CDL and other pertinent certifications.

Work Environment:
