Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician at Life Time is responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our clubs, ensuring a safe and positive experience for our members and guests. This role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various assets, including millwork, plumbing, lighting, and pool systems.
  • Verify that temperatures, pressures, and chemistry meet state, local, and company requirements through logs and inspection systems.
  • Respond to and prioritize repair requests, with a focus on emergency repairs.
  • Accurately record all repair and preventative maintenance activity in Maintenance Tracking software.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

  • 3 to 4 years of facility maintenance experience or equivalent training.
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend and lift more than 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.

Certifications:

  • CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
