We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations.
• Pass instruments, sponges, and other necessary items to the surgical team.
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts to ensure accuracy.
• Assume care of specimens until they are turned over to the Registered Nurse.

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or on-the-job training with two years of scrub experience in an OR setting.
• Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification at HCP Level required.
