Job Summary
MEDPRO Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, Georgia. As an MRI technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting doctors in diagnosing diseases and injuries using magnetic resonance imaging scanners.

About the Role
This position requires a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to safely operate MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety while producing high-quality images. You will work closely with medical professionals to diagnose and treat various conditions.

Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
- Assist doctors in interpreting images and making diagnoses
- Ensure patient safety by positioning them correctly on the scanner table and monitoring their comfort level during scans
- Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality
- Familiarize yourself with the differences between normal and abnormal images
- Respond promptly to life-threatening situations and ensure patient well-being
- Maintain accurate records of patient data and scan results
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practices guidelines

Requirements
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Valid state radiology registration as required by law
- Eighteen months of experience as an MRI technologist, preferably in a critical care setting
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
