Travel Nurse RN Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team in a full-time, night shift role. Our ICU is a 16-bed unit, and we offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the hospital's philosophy and objectives.
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate all nursing care provided to assigned patients.
- Assess and reassess patient condition, initiate a plan of care, and begin discharge planning on admission.
- Maintain and apply current nursing standards and clinical competency, including the National Patient Safety Goals.
- Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families, using effective communication skills.
- Accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, and utilize time and material cost-effectively.
- Continue self-development, provide leadership, and actively participate in Performance Improvement Activities.
- Acute Care or Critical Care experience is strongly preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Georgia RN licensure or compact license.
- Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Certification in specialty area is preferred.
- 2 years of experience is required.
- ACLS, BLS AHA, and NIHSS certifications are required.
