About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Right at Home Southeast South Dakota. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients, assisting with daily activities, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversations and activities that bring joy to our clients' days.
  • Offer support with transfers and mobility, including lifting or supporting clients weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Help clients adhere to their medication schedules.
  • Assist with running errands, light housekeeping, and maintaining a clean, comfortable living space.
  • Aid clients with daily living activities, which may involve lifting, bending, and reaching to assist with transfers, bathing, dressing, and other personal care tasks.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate preferred.
  • 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant certifications (CNA, HHA, HCA, PCA preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Shift Options
  • Morning/Afternoon shifts ideal for early risers.
  • Evening/Overnight shifts perfect for those seeking flexibility.
  • Short/Long shifts available, including 4-hour, 8-hour, 12-hour, and more to suit your availability.
