Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Rockhill Manor, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate distribution and charting of medication administration, as well as maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order and manage house stock medications, VA medication, and supplies
  • Monitor medications for expiration dates and ensure compliance with doctor's orders
  • Document all medications given and refused, as well as any changes to resident orders
  • Train new staff members and maintain a 24-hour log for resident order changes
  • Perform vital signs and weights, and maintain accurate records
  • Follow proper safety procedures and state regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
