  • Silicon Evaluation: Assessing new silicon technologies and scrutinizing the performance metrics of photonics processors.
  • Test Circuit Characterization: Conducting detailed characterization of analog, digital, and photonics test circuits.
  • Product Preparation: Readying products for manufacturing and subsequent deployment to customers.
  • System Prototyping: Engaging in the prototyping, construction, and modification of systems.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing test data and presenting findings to enhance the design process.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in an engineering-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, or similar, particularly in object-oriented settings.
  • Familiarity with Linux and version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with testing instruments, including high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, and optical sources.
  • Knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, or JESD204B is advantageous.
  • Background in photonics is a plus.
  • A strong aptitude for problem-solving and exploring opportunities.
