Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecological Restoration Technician to join our team at Resource Environmental Solutions. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for implementing various restoration projects, including stream restoration, stormwater management, and invasive species control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement restoration projects, including planting, seeding, and installing erosion control measures
  • Operate light equipment, such as chainsaws and gas-powered brush cutters, and apply herbicides to control invasive species
  • Work in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Travel up to 75% within the Midwest region, with occasional overnight stays
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in field operations or civil construction, or on natural resource or water resource infrastructure projects
  • Prior experience performing native seed and plant installation, including erosion control measures
  • Native plant identification knowledge
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a FedMed Certificate and drive truck and trailer
