The Student Support Center Case Manager plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Dean of Students, School Counselors, and fellow Case Managers to foster positive student behavior and ensure a secure learning atmosphere. We seek an individual who can effectively balance nurturing student relationships with maintaining high expectations and accountability. The ideal candidate will be energetic, team-oriented, reliable, and deeply committed to the belief that all students can thrive academically with appropriate support, irrespective of their background.
Key Responsibilities:
The Student Support Center Case Manager will directly engage with Middle School administration to promote a constructive school environment conducive to teaching and learning.
- Execute the student management structures and routines established by school leadership.
- Oversee and monitor student activities throughout the day, including but not limited to:
- Cafeteria during Breakfast
- Cafeteria during Lunch
- Lunch Detention
- After-School Detention
- In-House Intervention
- In-House Suspension
- Hallways
- Homeroom as needed
- Classrooms as needed
- Outside Plaza at Dismissal
- Collaborate with educators and administrators regarding student issues
- Implement PBIS strategies consistently
- At least one year of experience in an educational setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience working with middle school-aged students
- Familiarity with Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS)
