Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Traveling Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a 14-week assignment in a 150-bed General/Vascular hospital.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to work as a Traveling Ultrasound Technologist in our imaging department. As a Mobile Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams on patients of all ages, including infants, children, and adults
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including scanners and probes
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, including positioning and preparation for exams
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency
Requirements
  • Current ARDMS certification in Sonography-General
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
