Nursing Delegate

CSAAC seeks a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Delegating Nurse. In this position, you will be responsible for training, delegating, and supervising unlicensed staff in the process of medication administration.

This is a full-time opportunity with an estimated salary of $85,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and location. As a Delegating Nurse, you will work closely with the Health Services Manager, Director of Quality Assurance, coordinators, and directors to ensure high-quality care for individuals supported by CSAAC.

• Develops plans of care and conducts ongoing nursing assessments
• Evaluates and updates nursing plans every 45 days and as needed
• Trains, delegates, and supervises unlicensed staff in medication administration
• Performs MAR/medication reviews and ensures appropriate storage guidelines are followed
• Evaluates competency of unlicensed staff and completes DDA Competency and Evaluation forms as needed

Requirements: Active State of Maryland licensure as a Registered Nurse and successful completion of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) 14-hour Delegating Nursing class.
