Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at our Manufacturing Plant in Prince George, VA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Identify and resolve equipment safety hazards and perform safety repairs as directed.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the plant, including replacing, overhauling, or fabricating broken and damaged components.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs, diagnosing malfunctioning systems, isolating faults, and determining correction actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Assist in the planning, development, and installation of facility upgrades and repairs.
- Operate and maintain various electrical and electronic equipment, including 24VDC control circuitry and 120/208/240/480VAC equipment and distribution panels.
- Apply a working knowledge of motor controllers, VFD's, sensors, and motion control devices to the maintenance of multi-axis automated machines.
- Provide training and guidance to other Maintenance Technicians.
- 3 years' experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
- Will be required to demonstrate mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance knowledge.
