Dishwasher Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at Five Star Senior Living. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our dining areas and kitchen facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and inspect all dishware and glassware to ensure they are clean and free of any debris or contaminants.
• Store clean utensils, dishes, and glassware in their designated areas to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Keep the dish washing machine and dish room in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions or breakdowns to the appropriate personnel.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen area, waitstaff station, and clean the filter over the stove area to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Deliver ice to the dining room as needed to ensure that our residents and staff have access to cold beverages.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and sanitation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as dish carts and cleaning supplies.
