Key Responsibilities:

- Develop state-of-the-art video processing algorithms to improve picture quality on Apple devices.

- Work across teams to trade-off performance, power, area, quality and schedule when mapping video processing algorithms onto SoC architecture.

- Write clear and concise hardware architecture specifications and bit-accurate C-models for hardware/software verification.

- Assist software teams to help tune quality and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

- BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Ability to program in Python, PyTorch, and/or C/C++.

- Strong understanding of image/video/signal processing fundamentals and neural network fundamentals.

- Experience in developing new image/video processing algorithms and neural network-based image/video processing algorithms is preferred.
