Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the labor and delivery nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with physicians, obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and quality of care.
- Conduct regular rounds, assess patient needs, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear and timely information exchange.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing, with a focus on leadership and management.
